In Saturday's league outing, the visiting Lordsburg Mavericks softball team scored a nice 21-11 win over the Capitan Tigers.
Coming up next, the Mavericks encounter the Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM) in a A/2A District 3 outing, on Monday, April 22. Lordsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The SonBlazers enter the outing with a 13-2 record after their 10-0 league win over Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM).
The Tigers (1-9) will now prepare for their outing against Tularosa (Tularosa, NM). The Wildcats enter the A/2A District 3 outing with a 11-4 record. In their last outing, Tularosa prevailed over Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM), 19-0, in a league outing.
