The Scripps Ranch Falcons softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Central Spartans to 1 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Scripps Ranch improves its record to 11-8 on the year. The Falcons host San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Monday, April 22. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 4-10. San Dieguito Academy lost 10-0 in their recent league game against Sage Creek (Carlsbad, CA)

Next up, the Spartans meet the Palm Desert Aztecs (Palm Desert, CA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 22. Central will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Aztecs go into the battle with a 14-11 record after their 2-1 league loss to Shadow Hills (Indio, CA).
