In Saturday's non-league match, the host Orange Lions softball team scored a tight 23-18 victory over the Chagrin Falls Tigers.
The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Hawken (Gates Mills, OH). The Hawks go into the Chagrin Valley - Chagrin match with a 0-6 record. In their last match, Hawken was routed by Cardinal (Middlefield, OH), 32-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Cardinal Huskies (Middlefield, OH) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 22. Chagrin Falls will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Huskies go into the match with a 6-4 record after their 32-5 non-league win over Hawken (Gates Mills, OH).
