Alabama High School Softball - Cleburne County bounces Wellborn

The Cleburne County Tigers (Heflin, AL) softball routed the host Wellborn Panthers (Anniston, AL), 11-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Tigers (5-21) will now prepare for their bout against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AL). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 17-17 record. In their last bout, Jacksonville was routed by Pleasant Valley (Jacksonville, AL), 13-8, in a non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Ashville for a non-league bout on Monday, April 22. Wellborn will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Childersburg (Childersburg, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-18.
