The Lincoln County Lions softball team scored 24 runs and limited the host Plains-Hot Springs Horsemen to 7 in the Lions league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Lincoln County improves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Lions host Bonners Ferry (Bonners Ferry, ID) to clash with the Badgers in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 23. The Badgers come into the game with a record of 4-9. Bonners Ferry won 16-6 in their recent non-league game against Post Falls (Post Falls, ID)

In their next game, the Horsemen clash with the Thompson Falls Blue Hawks (Thompson Falls, MT) in a Western B North game, on Thursday, May 2. Plains-Hot Springs will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
