Indiana High School Softball - Lowell bounces Merrillville

April 20, 2024: Lowell, IN 46356

The Lowell Red Devils routed the visiting Merrillville Pirates softball squad by a final score of 11-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Red Devils (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN). The Kougars go into the Northwest Crossroads battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Kankakee Valley topped West Central (Francesville, IN), 13-2, in a non-league battle.

The Pirates now possess a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to Hobart for a non-league battle on Monday, April 22. Merrillville will meet a Brickies squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Michigan City (Michigan City, IN). The Brickies record now stands at 8-3.
