Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA), 20-2 in a league challenge.

The Bighorns now own a 16-5 record. They take the field next when they host West Wendover for a 2A- Northern challenge on Friday, April 26. Oasis Academy will battle a Wolverines squad coming off a 14-3 league loss to Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-13.

With the loss, North Tahoe falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Lakers host Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV) to battle the Nighthawks in a 2A- Northern challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Nighthawks enter the challenge with a record of 3-11. Silver Stage lost 15-3 in their recent league challenge against Yerington (Yerington, NV)
