In Saturday's non-league contest, the Nyssa Bulldogs (Nyssa, OR) softball team overwhelmed the host Payette Pirates (Payette, ID), by a margin of 15-0.
With the triumph, Nyssa moves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Burns (Burns, OR) to play the Hilanders in a 3A-SD4 Special District 4 contest on Tuesday, April 23. The Hilanders come into the contest with a record of 8-2.
In their next game, the Pirates play the Fruitland Grizzlies (Fruitland, ID) in a 3A Snake River Valley contest, on Monday, April 22. Payette will attempt to move on its 0-13 season record. The Grizzlies come into the contest with a 4-14 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Nampa Christian (Nampa, ID).
