Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Opelousas Catholic Vikings (Opelousas, LA) and the host Ouachita Christian Eagles (Monroe, LA), witnessed Opelousas Catholic's softball squad tip Ouachita Christian by a count of 2-0.
The Vikings now sport a 24-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ascension Catholic for a non-league match on Friday, April 26. Opelousas Catholic will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-5 non-league win over St. Frederick (Monroe, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-11.
With the loss, Ouachita Christian moves to 18-11 on the season.
