The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Wicksburg Panthers (Newton, AL) and the visiting Opp Bobcats (Opp, AL), saw Wicksburg's softball squad nip Opp by a count of 2-1.

The Panthers now sport a 31-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Houston Academy for a non-league match on Monday, April 22. Wicksburg will face a Raiders squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Satsuma (Satsuma, AL). The Raiders record now stands at 36-2.

With the loss, Opp falls to 33-6 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Brantley (Brantley, AL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 23. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 16-13. Brantley lost 15-5 in their recent non-league match against Zion Chapel (Jack, AL)
