The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Saint James Trojans (Montgomery, AL) and the host Providence Christian Eagles (Dothan, AL), observed Saint James's softball team get by Providence Christian by a tally of 8-7.

The Trojans (28-2) will now prepare for their bout against Prattville Christian Academy (Prattville, AL). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 24-4 record. In their last bout, Prattville Christian Academy tipped Thorsby (Thorsby, AL), 4-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Long Rebels (Skipperville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 22. Providence Christian will attempt to advance on its 8-12 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 14-13 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Houston Academy (Dothan, AL).
