Ohio High School Softball - Whiteoak bounces Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington

Spectators at Saturday's league match between the Whiteoak Wildcats (Mowrystown, OH) and the visiting Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays (Ripley, OH), witnessed Whiteoak's softball squad tip Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington by a count of 12-7.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-6 record. They play next when they host West Union for a Southern Hills Athletic match on Monday, April 22. Whiteoak will face a Dragons squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Lynchburg-Clay (Lynchburg, OH). The Dragons record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington moves to 1-10 on the season. The Blue jays host North Adams (Seaman, OH) to face the Green Devils in a Southern Hills Athletic match on Monday, April 22. The Green Devils go into the match with a record of 4-9. North Adams lost 10-2 in their recent non-league match against Huntington (Chillicothe, OH)
