In Monday's league test, the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR) softball squad overwhelmed the host Marshall Bobcats (Marshall, AR), by a tally of 23-0.

Next, the Timberwolves meet the Bay Yellowjackets (Bay, AR) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 21. Cedar Ridge will attempt to advance on its 14-9 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a 2-9 record after their 15-6 league loss to Piggott (Piggott, AR).

The Bobcats (0-12) will now prepare for their test against Izard County (Brockwell, AR). The Cougars go into the 2A Region 2 test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Izard County prevailed over Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR), 8-3, in a league test.
