Ohio High School Softball - Continental bounces Holgate

In Monday's non-league match, the host Continental Pirates softball team scored a nice 21-1 win over the Holgate Tigers.

The Pirates (9-2) will now prepare for their match against Kalida (Kalida, OH). The Wildcats come into the Putnam County match with a 3-9 record. In their last match, Kalida was routed by Ottawa-Glandorf (Ottawa, OH), 16-14, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Pettisville Blackbirds (Pettisville, OH) in a Buckeye Border match, on Tuesday, April 21. Holgate will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Blackbirds come into the match with a 3-7 record after their 12-11 league win over North Central (Pioneer, OH).
