Pennsylvania High School Softball - State College bounces Mifflin County

April 20, 2026: Lewistown, PA 17044

In Monday's league match, the visiting State College Little Lions softball team scored a tight 8-1 win over the Mifflin County Huskies.

The Little Lions (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Chambersburg (Chambersburg, PA). The Trojans come into the Mid-Penn - Commonwealth match with a 12-4 record. In their last match, Chambersburg was routed by Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA), 2-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth match, on Wednesday, April 22. Mifflin County will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Mountain Lions come into the match with a 3-7 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, PA).
