Ohio High School Softball - Springfield bested by Northmont

The Northmont Thunderbolts triumphed over the visiting Springfield Wildcats softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Thunderbolts play the Springboro Panthers (Springboro, OH) in a Greater Western Ohio challenge, on Wednesday, April 22. Northmont will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 25-0 league win over Miamisburg (Miamisburg, OH).

The Wildcats (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Fairborn (Fairborn, OH). The Skyhawks enter the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Fairborn overcame Tippecanoe (Tipp City, OH), 17-9, in a league challenge.
