The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Murrieta Mesa Rams (Murrieta, CA) and the visiting Chaparral Pumas (Temecula, CA), saw Murrieta Mesa's lacrosse team achieve victory over Chaparral by a margin of 16-12.

The Rams (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, CA). The Nighthawks enter the SoWest challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Murrieta Valley was overwhelmed by Great Oak (Temecula, CA), 16-3, in a league challenge.

The Pumas (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA). The Sundevils enter the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Carmel edged Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA), 11-3, in a non-league challenge.
