The St. Xavier Tigers got by the visiting Brother Rice Crusaders baseball team by a count of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 17-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to DuPont Manual for a non-league bout on Friday, April 22.
Next, the Crusaders face the Trinity Shamrocks (Louisville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 22. Brother Rice will attempt to move on its 17-2 season record. The Shamrocks enter the bout with a 16-1 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Floyd Central (Floyds Knobs, IN).
