Indiana High School Baseball - North Newton defeats Frontier

April 21, 2022: Chalmers, IN 47929

Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the North Newton Spartans (Morocco, IN) and the host Frontier Falcons (Chalmers, IN), saw North Newton's baseball squad knock off Frontier by a count of 14-9.

Coming up next, the Spartans play the Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 23. North Newton will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Bearcats enter the battle with a 1-10 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Merrillville (Merrillville, IN).

The Falcons now possess a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Twin Lakes for a non-league battle on Monday, April 25. Frontier will play a Indians squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Northwestern (Kokomo, IN). The Indians record now stands at 5-6.
