The Valencia Jaguars baseball team scored 27 runs and limited the host Highland Hornets to 2 in the Jaguars league victory on Thursday.
The Jaguars (9-11) will now prepare for their match against Grants (Grants, NM). The Pirates go into the 4A District 5 match with a 15-8 record. In their last match, Grants was overwhelmed by St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM), 9-6, in a league match.
The Hornets (0-20) will now prepare for their match against East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM). The Timberwolves go into the non-league match with a 12-6 record. In their last match, East Mountain gained a win over Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM), 11-6, in a league match.
