The Medina Battling Bees crushed the host Solon Comets baseball team by a count of 13-5 in Thursday's league bout.
The Battling Bees now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Padua Franciscan for a non-league game on Sunday, April 24. Medina will clash with a Bruins team coming off a 15-6 non-league win over Nordonia (Macedonia, OH). The Bruins record now stands at 6-3.
The Comets (0-6) will now prepare for their game against St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, St. Ignatius was overwhelmed by St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI), 4-1, in a non-league game.
