In Thursday's league battle, the host Burbank Titans volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the River City Raiders.

The Titans (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA). The Mustangs come into the Metropolitan Conference battle with a 18-7 record. In their last battle, Monterey Trail lost by Woodcreek (Roseville, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Raiders confront the McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) in a Metropolitan Conference test, on Tuesday, April 26. River City will attempt to improve on its 0-19 season record. The Lions enter the test with a 3-13 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA).
