Arizona High School Volleyball - Liberty edged by Mountain Ridge

The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Liberty Lions to 2 in the Mountain Lions league victory on Thursday.

The Mountain Lions now have a 16-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boulder Creek for a 6A Desert Valley game on Tuesday, April 26. Mountain Ridge will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 league loss to O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-16.

The Lions (7-13) will now prepare for their game against O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles enter the 6A Desert Valley game with a 38-0 record. In their last game, O'Connor held off Brophy College Prep (Phoenix, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league game.
