Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots confront the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 25. Albemarle will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Flying Flucos enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA).

The Lions now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goochland for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 25.
