The Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) soccer bounced the host Alleghany Mountaineers (Covington, VA), 9-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Carroll County moves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Glenvar (Salem, VA) to battle the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Friday, April 29. The Highlanders enter the bout with a record of 11-0.
In their next game, the Mountaineers battle the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 25. Alleghany will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record.
