Virginia High School Softball - Altavista loses to Dan River

The Dan River Wildcats softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Altavista Colonels to 0 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Dan River improves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league game on Monday, April 25. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 4-5.
In their next game, the Colonels clash with the Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) in a Dogwood game, on Wednesday, April 27. Altavista will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record.
