The Sequoyah Chiefs (Madisonville, TN) softball the visiting Austin-East Roadrunners (Knoxville, TN), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Chiefs (10-2) will now prepare for their bout against Alcoa (Alcoa, TN). The Tornadoes go into the non-league bout with a 11-6 record. In their last bout, Alcoa held off Heritage (Maryville, TN), 5-2, in a non-league bout.
The Roadrunners now possess a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Fulton for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 26.
