Berkeley Stags (Moncks Corner, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Cane Bay Cobras (Summerville, SC), 12-2 in a league challenge.

The Stags now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wando for a AAAAA Region 7 challenge on Friday, April 22.

With the loss, Cane Bay falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Cobras host Stratford (Goose Creek, SC) to battle the Knights in a AAAAA Region 7 challenge on Friday, April 22. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 12-5. Stratford won 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC)
