The Kewanee Boilermakers softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Bureau Valley Storm to 6 in the Boilermakers league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Kewanee moves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Boilermakers travel to Orion (Orion, IL) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league game on Saturday, April 23. The Chargers come into the game with a record of 2-10. Orion lost 9-3 in their recent league game against Riverdale (Port Byron, IL)

In their next game, the Storm clash with the Rockridge Rockets (Taylor Ridge, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 22. Bureau Valley will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Rockets come into the game with a 15-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over St. Bede (Peru, IL).
