Swan Valley Vikings (Saginaw, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Byron Eagles (Byron, MI), 23-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host Birch Run for a Tri-Valley - East challenge on Tuesday, April 26.

With the loss, Byron falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Durand (Durand, MI) to battle the Railroaders in a Mid-Michigan challenge on Monday, April 25. The Railroaders enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Durand lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Stockbridge (Stockbridge, MI)
