In Thursday's league outing, the host Chopticon Braves softball team scored a close 3-2 win over the Northern Patriots.

Coming up next, the Braves battle the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) in a Southern Maryland outing, on Friday, April 22. Chopticon will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Chargers enter the outing with a 3-6 record after their 10-0 league loss to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD).

The Patriots (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against St. Charles (Waldorf, MD). The enter the Southern Maryland outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, St. Charles was tipped by Lackey (Indian Head, MD), 12-2, in a league outing.
