Clio Mustangs (Clio, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lake Fenton Blue Devils (Linden, MI), 6-3 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Almont for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 23. Clio will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 18-0 non-league win over Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI). The Raiders record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Lake Fenton falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Owosso (Owosso, MI) to battle the Trojans in a Flint Metro challenge on Monday, April 25. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Owosso won 5-0 in their recent league challenge against Holt (Holt, MI)
