The Oneida Indians softball team scored 22 runs and limited the host Coalfield Yellowjackets to 3 in the Indians league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Oneida improves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Indians host Campbell County (Jacksboro, TN) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league game on Monday, April 25. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 2-7. Campbell County lost 12-0 in their recent non-league game against Christian Academy of Knoxville (Knoxville, TN)

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Sunbright Tigers (Sunbright, TN) in a 1A District 3 game, on Friday, April 22. Coalfield will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 0-8 record after their 15-0 league loss to Oliver Springs (Oliver Springs, TN).
