The Denbigh Patriots softball team (Newport News, VA), was routed 20-2 in Thursday's league test with the host Phoebus Phantoms (Hampton, VA)
Coming up next, the Phantoms encounter the Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 22. Phoebus will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Mighty Bookers enter the test with a 1-3 record after their 17-0 league loss to Manor (Portsmouth, VA).
The Patriots (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Gloucester (Gloucester, VA). The Dukes enter the Peninsula test with a 5-3 record.
