The Emerald Vikings softball team (Greenwood, SC), was routed 19-3 in Thursday's non-league test with the host Dixie Hornets (Due West, SC)
Coming up next, the Hornets encounter the Ninety Six Wildcats (Ninety Six, SC) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 22. Dixie will attempt to improve on its 15-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 9-9 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC).
The Vikings (1-10) will now prepare for their test against Clinton (Clinton, SC). The Red Devils come into the AAA Region 3 test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Clinton overcame Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC), 14-8, in a non-league test.
