Pennsylvania High School Softball - Lampeter-Strasburg bounces Ephrata

The Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers routed the host Ephrata Mountaineers softball squad by a final score of 8-0 in Thursday's league battle.

The Pioneers (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against J.P. McCaskey (Lancaster, PA). The Red Tornado go into the non-league battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, J.P. McCaskey notched a victory over Lebanon (Lebanon, PA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.

The Mountaineers now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hempfield for a non-league battle on Friday, April 22. Ephrata will confront a Black Knights squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Conestoga Valley (Lancaster, PA). The Black Knights record now stands at 5-4.
