Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Glenbrook South Titans (Glenview, IL), 5-0 in a league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Evanston for a Central Suburban - South challenge on Tuesday, April 26.

With the loss, Glenbrook South falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL) to battle the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 23. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 8-2. Hersey won 8-0 in their recent league game against Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL)
