The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) and the visiting Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA), saw Orange County's softball squad nip Goochland by a count of 8-1.
The Fighting Hornets now sport a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison County for a non-league match on Monday, April 25. Orange County will face a Mountaineers squad coming off a 7-3 league loss to Rappahannock County (Washington, VA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 2-4.
The Bulldogs now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Louisa County for a Jefferson battle on Tuesday, April 26.
