West Virginia High School Softball - Grafton can't hold off Liberty

The Grafton Bearcats softball team (Grafton, WV), was tipped 6-5 in Thursday's league test with the host Liberty Mountaineers (Clarksburg, WV)

Coming up next, the Mountaineers encounter the Robert C. Byrd Eagles (Clarksburg, WV) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 21. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 12-8 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 12-4 record after their 7-3 league win over Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV).

The Bearcats (9-13) will now prepare for their outing against Preston (Kingwood, WV). The Knights enter the non-league outing with a 0-9 record. In their last outing, Preston was tipped by University (Morgantown, WV), 20-5, in a league outing.
