Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Port Huron Big Reds (Port Huron, MI), 8-4 in a league challenge.

The Blue Devils now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to L'Anse Creuse for a Macomb Area - Blue challenge on Tuesday, April 26.

With the loss, Port Huron falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Big reds host Center Line (Center Line, MI) to face the Panthers in a Macomb Area - Gold challenge on Friday, April 22. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
