The Hedgesville Eagles (Hedgesville, WV) softball routed the visiting Martinsburg Bulldogs (Martinsburg, WV), 17-2 in Thursday's league bout.

The Eagles (8-9) will now prepare for their bout against Pendleton County (Franklin, WV). The Wildcat go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Pendleton County toppled East Hardy (Baker, WV), 14-2, in a league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to Washington for a Eastern Panhandle bout on Monday, April 25.
