Illinois High School Softball - Newark bounces Illinois Math & Science

The Newark Norsemen routed the host Illinois Math & Science Titans softball squad by a final score of 17-0 in Thursday's league battle.

The Norsemen (17-2) will now prepare for their battle against Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL). The Raiders go into the non-league battle with a 0-7 record.

The Titans now possess a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Hiawatha for a Little Ten battle on Thursday, April 28. Illinois Math & Science will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 11-2 league loss to Serena (Serena, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 0-6.
