California High School Softball - Linfield Christian gets by Woodcrest Christian

Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Linfield Christian Lions (Temecula, CA) and the host Woodcrest Christian Royals (Riverside, CA), witnessed Linfield Christian's softball squad tip Woodcrest Christian by a count of 16-15.

The Lions now sport a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ontario Christian for a Ambassador match on Monday, April 25. Linfield Christian will face a Knights squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Aquinas (San Bernardino, CA). The Knights record now stands at 8-12.

With the loss, Woodcrest Christian moves to 5-10 on the season. The Royals travel to Arrowhead Christian (Redlands, CA) to face the Eagles in a Ambassador match on Tuesday, April 26. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 9-10. Arrowhead Christian lost 10-8 in their recent league match against Linfield Christian (Temecula, CA)
