The Seneca Fighting Irish softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Marquette Crusaders to 5 in the Fighting Irish league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Seneca improves its record to 11-2 on the year. The Fighting Irish travel to Coal City (Coal City, IL) to clash with the Coalers in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 27. The Coalers come into the game with a record of 7-8.

In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the Plano Reapers (Plano, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 23. Marquette will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record.
