The Monte Vista Monarchs softball team (Spring Valley, CA), was routed 16-6 in Thursday's league test with the visiting Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA)

Coming up next, the Matadors encounter the Liberty Charter Lions (Lemon Grove, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 22. Mount Miguel will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 4-8 record after their 13-2 non-league loss to San Ysidro (San Diego, CA).

The Monarchs (10-9) will now prepare for their test against El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA). The Braves come into the Grossmont Valley test with a 0-12 record.
