The North Pitt Panthers softball team scored 22 runs and limited the visiting Southside Seahawks to 10 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, North Pitt improves its record to 7-8 on the year. The Panthers travel to West Craven (Vanceboro, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a Eastern Plains 2A game on Tuesday, April 26. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 7-9. West Craven won 15-5 in their recent league game against Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC)

In their next game, the Seahawks clash with the Northside - Pinetown Panthers (Pinetown, NC) in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A game, on Tuesday, April 26. Southside will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 8-5 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Manteo (Manteo, NC).
