The Salisbury Hornets routed the visiting North Rowan Cavaliers softball squad by a count of 16-0 in Thursday's league battle.

The Hornets (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Lexington (Lexington, NC). The Yellowjackets go into the Central Carolina 1A/2A battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Lexington was routed by West Davidson (Lexington, NC), 1-0, in a league battle.
