Oswego East Wolves (Oswego, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL), 7-4 in a league challenge.

The Wolves now sport a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Warren Township for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 23. Oswego East will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 17-3 league win over Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Plainfield North falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Naperville Central (Naperville, IL) to face the Redhawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 22. The Redhawks enter the challenge with a record of 5-6. Naperville Central won 11-5 in their recent league challenge against DeKalb (DeKalb, IL)
