Salisbury Township Falcons (Allentown, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA), 18-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Pen Argyl for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 22. Salisbury Township will battle a Green Knights squad coming off a 16-6 non-league win over Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA). The Green Knights record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Saucon Valley falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 22. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 9-1. Northwestern Lehigh won 13-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Wilson Area (Easton, PA)
