Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Wayne Pioneers (Wayne, WV), 13-0 in a league challenge.
The Indians now own a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ripley for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 22.
With the loss, Wayne falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Nitro (Nitro, WV) to battle the Wildcats in a Cardinal challenge on Friday, April 22. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 13-4. Nitro won 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Hurricane (Hurricane, WV)
